I laughed through my tears.
That was so Rosie.
“First, don't be scared for me. I'm scared too. But I need you to know something.”
I continued.
“Ben did not marry me because he felt sorry for me.”
My hands began shaking.
“He did not marry me because of our family. He did not marry me because of money. He did not marry me because he wanted to stay close to you.”
I looked at Ben.
He was crying silently.
“He married me because he loves me.”
I covered my mouth.
Then I read the next line.
“And I married him because I love him.”
